Terms of service

The agreement between you and Postbito when you use postbito.com, its API and its MCP server.

Last updated October 26, 2026

The agreement

By creating an account or using Postbito — the website, the app, the REST API or the MCP server — you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you use Postbito for a company, you agree on its behalf and confirm you’re allowed to.

Accounts and teams

  • Give accurate details, keep your password and API keys secret, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has access.
  • A team is the account: it owns the connected channels, posts, media and API keys, and pays for the plan. Its owner is responsible for the team, for who they invite, and for the roles they give.
  • You’re responsible for everything done through your account and its API keys.

Plans and billing

  • The Free plan is free. Paid plans are priced per connected channel and billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through Stripe, at the prices on our pricing page.
  • Connecting or removing channels changes your subscription’s quantity; Stripe prorates the difference on your next invoice.
  • Paid plans may start with a free trial. Unless you cancel before it ends, the subscription starts and the card on file is charged.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from Plan & billing; you keep the paid plan until the end of the period you’ve paid for. Payments aren’t refundable except where the law requires.
  • Prices exclude taxes, which may be added. We’ll give at least 30 days’ notice before a price change affects an existing subscription.

Your content

You own what you post and upload. You give Postbito permission to store, copy, process, resize, convert and transmit it only as needed to run the service for you — above all, to publish it to the networks you choose at the times you choose. You confirm you have the rights to everything you publish through Postbito, including music, footage, images and trademarks in it.

Connected networks

  • Postbito publishes through each network’s official API with the access you grant. You must follow each network’s own terms and policies, including Meta’s terms for Facebook and Instagram, the YouTube Terms of Service, and the terms of TikTok, X and LinkedIn.
  • Networks decide what they accept and when. They can reject a post, limit how often you post, change or retire their APIs, or revoke access, and we aren’t responsible for their decisions or outages. When a post can’t be published we’ll tell you why, as far as the network says.
  • Postbito isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, X or LinkedIn, whose names and logos are trademarks of their owners.

Acceptable use

Don’t use Postbito to:

  • publish anything illegal, infringing, deceptive, hateful, harassing, sexually exploitative or violent, or anything a network’s policies forbid;
  • send spam, run fake or coordinated inauthentic accounts, or impersonate anyone;
  • get around a network’s limits, or connect accounts you aren’t authorised to manage;
  • probe, overload or attack Postbito, scrape it, or resell it without our written agreement.

We may remove content, pause publishing or suspend accounts that break these rules, and will tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it.

The API, MCP and agents

API keys act for your team with the permissions you give them. Anything a script or AI agent does with your key — drafting, scheduling or publishing — is your responsibility, so give keys only the permissions they need (a key without “publish” can only draft or submit for approval). Rate limits apply, and we may change or retire API versions with reasonable notice.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Postbito running and posts going out on time, but we can’t promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change features; if a change significantly reduces what a paid plan includes, you can cancel and get a pro-rata refund of the unused period.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings — see Deleting your data. We may end or suspend an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, or that hasn’t paid. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as ownership, disclaimers and liability) survive the end of the agreement.

Disclaimers and liability

Postbito is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or posts that a network rejected, delayed or removed. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.

You’ll defend and indemnify Postbito against claims arising from content you publish through it or from your breach of these terms.

General

These terms are governed by the laws of the place where Postbito’s operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and its courts have jurisdiction — unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim there. If part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies. We may update these terms; for significant changes we’ll email account owners at least 30 days before they take effect.
